Enjoy egg dishes and want to try something new? Quail eggs can be prepared very similarly to chicken eggs! The only thing you may need to tweak is cooking time (especially if you're poaching, soft-boiling, or hard-boiling), since a quail egg is about a third of the size of a chicken egg. With a slightly higher yolk-to-egg ratio, quail eggs will result in a bit of a creamier bite. One of our favorite ways to enjoy quail eggs is to add them, soft-boiled, to a bowl of ramen!
Our quail, along with our chickens and ducks, have abundant space to forage outside all day long. They enjoy roaming the open outdoor space, including under our fruit tree orchards.
