Our long beans may be a bit different from the typical green beans found in your local supermarket. This variety, called Black Asparagus Yardlong Bean, originates from Taiwan. Common in Chinese, Thai, and Filipino cuisines, these long beans are tender and crisp, and can be used just like other green beans. They taste great chopped and sautéed with oil (and some pepper flakes if you like a little kick)!
